1. Who we are

KODAYUKI ("we", "us") is a digital pet-life journal operated by KODAYUKILtd., Malta. These terms govern your use of the KODAYUKI app and website (the "Service").

2. Not a veterinary service

KODAYUKI is a platform provider, not a veterinary clinic. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or teletriage. For anything urgent, contact a licensed veterinarian.

3. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Maltese and EU consumer law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Affairs Act (Cap. 378) or other applicable Maltese law.

4. Subscriptions & cancellation

• New subscribers get a 14-day free trial. We remind you two days before the trial ends.
• You may cancel any time from the app. Cancellation stops future charges; access continues until the end of the paid period.
• Under EU and MCCAA guidance you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. Begin using paid features and you may waive that right where the law allows; we'll always make this explicit at checkout.
• Refunds for billing errors are processed within 14 days.

5. Your data

Your pet's records are stored against a random identifier and kept separate from your personal details where possible. See our Privacy notice for full details, including your GDPR rights and how to contact Malta's IDPC.

6. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malta. Disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Maltese courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
